What is an Evolution?An evolution is a form I created in which the melody gets developed and continues changing until by the end of the piece you arrive at a totally different melody that nevertheless sounds familiar. From that melody you could go into the same process to arrive at a new melody, creating the equivalent of the principle of perpetual motion in music. |
